After studying languages and litterature at University in the South of France an urge to indulge in my passion for another kind of letters appeared.
Watching my grandfather writing free hand in an amazing Gothic hand made me start practicing Latin calligraphy at an early age but it was only after finding out about some of the best training courses for Calligraphy that my career took a new turn.
I studied in London to get a certificate of Practical Calligraphy (including art, bookbinding, illumination courses) and was lucky to be surrounded by amazing masters and other passionate people all crazy about letters, design and type.
The training was the starting point of a career in France where I developped my website which offered to send hand written letters to loved ones!
It also opened new horizons, with workshops, exhibitions , works for private commissions or graphic design agencies.
It enabled me to travel to Japan and teach there and to enrich my knowledge of what signs and lines mean in different cultures and how calligraphy appeals to each and one of us.
Finding an art which combines meaning and aesthetics, poetry and shapes... opened a door for me that I love to introduce people to...
