Christoph Muller
Christoph Müller Christoph Müller grew up in Villingen-Schwenningen (Black Forrest, Germany) His first piano lessons he took at age of five. At the age of eleven he started with tenorsaxophone and clarinet. At age of sexteen he had his first semiprofessional blues-gigs. After school in 1983 Christoph joined the band of the German Airforce-Band (Luftwaffenmusikkorps) in Karlsruhe as a saxplayer. 1986 he left the airforce for being a freelance musician. After that he studied International Marketing and worked as a sales representative for Yamaha. 1991 Christoph went to Evangeliums Rundfunk in Wetzlar, ERF. From 1993 Christoph studied classical saxophone, flute and clarinet in Darmstadt. 1996 Christoph became member of the BigBand der Bundeswehr. With this band he tours in Germany and around the world as a woodwind-player and soloist. Besides Christoph still plays in jazz-bands and Musicals. Also he teaches in the Music School of the city of Bonn. Christoph also is bandleader and arranger of the B4-Bigband in Bonn (Bigband der Bundesstadt Bonn) He is a demanded workshop-instructor in wind orchestras and band clinics - throughout in Germany. Also he works live and in studio with musicians of the christian scene like Lothar Kosse, Frieder Jost, Christian Schnarr, Werner Hucks and others. Christoph is married and father of two children. He lives with his family in Bonn - Bad Godesberg.
