Rolf S. Böhning, pianist and composer, was born in Mannheim in 1965. He studied Classical Music at the Conservatory in Freiburg and completed his studies with a Master's Degree as a Concert Pianist in Frankfurt. He now lives in Southern Germany where he works as a professional musician and freelance artist.

With "Dancing on the Waves"(CD) he has createt his own unique combination, fusing the elements of both Classical and Jazz piano.

"During my own concerts and performaces I became increasingly inspired througt visions of poetry, natural landscapes and portraits. In this way I come closer to the listener and give firsthand what I have to offer. I hope that this music touches your soul."
